Regent College London Launches Employability Workshops
We are delighted to announce the successful launch of our Employability Programme and our first series of workshops, which focus on improving students’ professional and academic skills.
Over the last three weeks, students have been taking part in our interactive Careers & Employability/Study Skills sessions that have been conducted in all campuses. The aim is to build strong employability skills and prepare students for their initial or next step in their professional journeys. The workshops are designed to facilitate and enhance their knowledge of the world of work, hone their academic skills and provide them with the necessary tools to shape their careers. We provide students with the opportunity to gain practical skills, and give them an insight into different career paths while sharing the ‘know-how’ on being successful during the employment process.
The workshops have been developed to focus on the following areas:
- Find the job (Job searching)
- Elevator Pitch
- CV Writing
- Negotiation Skills
- Cover Letters
- Presentation Skills
- Psychometric Tests
We look forward to bringing further developments in this area and helping students on their journey to success.
